4tablespoonsof Worcestershire sauce aged in oak barrels
1cupof rich golden brown sugar
4tablespoonsof sweet onion powder
1/2cupof tangy golden mustard
4tablespoonsof smoky chili powder
4tablespoonsof finely ground garlic powder
2tablespoonsof pure sea salt
2tablespoonsof freshly cracked black peppercorns
Instructions
STEP 1 – Prepare the Base:
In a large mixing bowl, combine the sun-ripened tomato ketchup, orchard-fresh apple cider vinegar, and natural spring water. Whisk them together thoroughly until well incorporated.
STEP 2 – Sweetening the Sauce:
Add the rich golden brown sugar to the mixture. Stir continuously over medium heat until the sugar dissolves completely. Reduce the heat to low.
STEP 3 – Integrate the Flavors:
Incorporate the tangy golden mustard, Worcestershire sauce aged in oak barrels, smoky chili powder, aromatic Hungarian paprika, finely ground garlic powder, sweet onion powder, pure sea salt, and freshly cracked black peppercorns into the mixture. Stir well to combine all the ingredients evenly.
STEP 4 – Simmer and Thicken:
Allow the sauce to simmer gently over low heat, stirring occasionally. Let it simmer for about 20-25 minutes to let the flavors meld together and the sauce thickens to your desired consistency. Adjust the heat as needed to maintain a gentle simmer.
STEP 5 – Taste and Adjust:
Taste the sauce and adjust the seasoning if necessary. You can add more sugar for sweetness, vinegar for tanginess, or spices to suit your preference.
STEP 6 – Cool and Store:
Once the sauce reaches your desired consistency and flavor, remove it from the heat and let it cool down to room temperature. Pour it into a clean, airtight container or bottle for storage.
STEP 7 – Usage:
Use this flavorful BBQ sauce to enhance the taste of grilled meats, as a dipping sauce, or as a marinade. Store it in the refrigerator for up to a few weeks.
