Instructions
Step 1: Preheat Your Oven
Set your oven to 400°F (200°C). While it heats up, grease a 9-inch pie plate.
Step 2: Cook the Bacon
Fry the bacon in a skillet until crispy. Drain on paper towels and crumble it into small pieces.
Step 3: Mix Wet Ingredients
In a medium bowl, whisk together the whole milk and eggs until fully combined.
Step 4: Combine Dry Ingredients
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the Bisquick baking mix, sea salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and smoked paprika.
Step 5: Blend Everything Together
Slowly add the wet ingredients to the dry mixture, stirring continuously to avoid lumps. Add the crumbled bacon, cheese, and onion. Mix well.
Step 6: Pour and Bake
Pour the mixture into the greased pie plate. Slide it into the preheated oven and bake for 35 to 40 minutes, or until the center is just set.
Step 7: Cool and Serve
Let the quiche cool for about 10 minutes before slicing. Enjoy warm or at room temperature.
Notes
Use Fresh Ingredients
: Always opt for fresh bacon and cheese. It makes a world of difference.
Avoid Over-Mixing
: Too much stirring can make the quiche dense.
Check for Doneness
: Jiggly centers mean more time in the oven.
Reheat Gently
: Use the microwave in short bursts or warm in the oven.
Season to Taste
: Adjust spices based on personal preference.
