- Cheddar cheese- 4 teaspoon
- Chipotles in adobo sauce – 1 can
- Butter: 4 tsp
- Brown sugar: 4 tsp
- Honey: 1 cup
- Lime juice: 2 tsp
- Worcestershire sauce: 1 tsp
- Apple cider vinegar: 2 tsp
- Garlic: 1 tsp
- Soya sauce: 1 tsp
- Salt and pepper: as per taste
Preheat the oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Place the cheddar cheese on the parchment-lined baking sheet and bake for 10 minutes, or until melted and bubbly.
In a blender, combine the melted cheese, chipotles in adobo sauce, butter, brown sugar, honey, lime juice, Worcestershire sauce, apple cider vinegar, garlic, soy sauce, salt and pepper.
Blend until smooth.
Pour the hot sauce into a saucepan and heat over medium-high heat for about 10 minutes, stirring often to prevent burning.
Once the hot sauce is heated through and has a slightly thickened consistency, remove from the heat and serve.
