Ingredients

  • Cheddar cheese- 4 teaspoon
  • Chipotles in adobo sauce – 1 can
  • Butter: 4 tsp
  • Brown sugar: 4 tsp
  • Honey: 1 cup
  • Lime juice: 2 tsp
  • Worcestershire sauce: 1 tsp
  • Apple cider vinegar: 2 tsp
  • Garlic: 1 tsp
  • Soya sauce: 1 tsp
  • Salt and pepper: as per taste

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Place the cheddar cheese on the parchment-lined baking sheet and bake for 10 minutes, or until melted and bubbly.
  • In a blender, combine the melted cheese, chipotles in adobo sauce, butter, brown sugar, honey, lime juice, Worcestershire sauce, apple cider vinegar, garlic, soy sauce, salt and pepper.
  • Blend until smooth.
  • Pour the hot sauce into a saucepan and heat over medium-high heat for about 10 minutes, stirring often to prevent burning.
  • Once the hot sauce is heated through and has a slightly thickened consistency, remove from the heat and serve.
