Chick-fil-A’s signature Ice cream has been a fan favorite for decades. With its creamy texture and sweet flavor, it’s no wonder that this frozen treat has stood the test of time.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the heavy cream, sweetened condensed milk, coconut milk, brown sugar, vanilla extract, lactose-free skim milk, granulated sugar and Himalayan salt.
Using a whisk or handheld mixer on medium speed, mix all of the ingredients until well combined and smooth.
Place the bowl in the refrigerator for 1 hour to chill.
After an hour, remove the chilled mixture from the refrigerator and transfer it to an ice cream maker.
Add in 10 cups of ice cubes and sprinkle about 1 cup of ice cream salt on top of the ice cubes.
Churn the ice cream mixture according to your ice cream maker’s instructions. This usually takes about 25-30 minutes.
Once the ice cream is done churning, transfer it to a freezer-safe container and fold in the chocolate chips.
Cover the container with plastic wrap and freeze for at least an hour before serving.
Scoop the delicious homemade Chick-fil-A ice cream into cones or cups and enjoy!
Notes
Make sure to chill the mixture before churning. This will help the ice cream freeze faster and create a smoother consistency.
You can adjust the sweetness of the ice cream by adding more or less sugar according to your taste preferences.
If you don’t have an ice cream maker, you can still make this recipe by following the same instructions but using a handheld mixer to beat the mixture until it’s thick and fluffy before freezing.
Feel free to add in your favorite mix-ins, such as crushed cookies or candy pieces, for a fun twist on the classic flavor.
