Equipment

  • Mixing bowl
  • plastic wrap

Ingredients

  • 3 soft tortillas choose your favorite type, such as flour or corn
  • 1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese use sharp cheddar for extra flavor
  • 4 oz cream cheese softened (softening the cream cheese will make it easier to blend)
  • 2 tablespoons diced red bell pepper adds a sweet and vibrant red color
  • 2 tablespoons diced green onions fresh and crisp, for a touch of mild onion flavor
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder for a savory and aromatic kick
  • 2 tablespoons diced green bell pepper crisp and green for a refreshing crunch
  • Salt and pepper to taste season to your preference for a perfect balance of flavors
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder adds depth of flavor without the bulk of fresh onions

Instructions

  • In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, diced green onions, and diced bell peppers. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly distributed.
  • Add in the garlic powder, onion powder, and salt and pepper to taste. Mix until well combined.
  • Lay out a tortilla and evenly spread the filling mixture on top, leaving about an inch border around the edges.
  • Roll up the tortilla tightly, starting from one end to create a spiral shape.
  • Wrap the rolled tortilla in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to allow the filling to set.
  • Once chilled, remove the plastic wrap and slice the rolled tortilla into 1-inch thick pinwheels.
  • Serve chilled and enjoy your delicious costco pinwheels!

Notes

• Make sure to finely chop the spinach, onion, and ham before adding them to the cream cheese mixture.
• If the cream cheese is too soft, place it in the refrigerator for 15 minutes before using.
• Use a sharp knife to cut the pinwheels so that they are even and uniform in size.
• For a spicier version, add a pinch of cayenne pepper to the cream cheese mixture.
• For a healthier version, use whole wheat tortillas instead of regular flour tortillas.
• Use gluten-free tortillas if needed.
