- 3 soft tortillas choose your favorite type, such as flour or corn
- 1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese use sharp cheddar for extra flavor
- 4 oz cream cheese softened (softening the cream cheese will make it easier to blend)
- 2 tablespoons diced red bell pepper adds a sweet and vibrant red color
- 2 tablespoons diced green onions fresh and crisp, for a touch of mild onion flavor
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder for a savory and aromatic kick
- 2 tablespoons diced green bell pepper crisp and green for a refreshing crunch
- Salt and pepper to taste season to your preference for a perfect balance of flavors
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder adds depth of flavor without the bulk of fresh onions
In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, diced green onions, and diced bell peppers. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly distributed.
Add in the garlic powder, onion powder, and salt and pepper to taste. Mix until well combined.
Lay out a tortilla and evenly spread the filling mixture on top, leaving about an inch border around the edges.
Roll up the tortilla tightly, starting from one end to create a spiral shape.
Wrap the rolled tortilla in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to allow the filling to set.
Once chilled, remove the plastic wrap and slice the rolled tortilla into 1-inch thick pinwheels.
Serve chilled and enjoy your delicious costco pinwheels!
• Make sure to finely chop the spinach, onion, and ham before adding them to the cream cheese mixture.
• If the cream cheese is too soft, place it in the refrigerator for 15 minutes before using.
• Use a sharp knife to cut the pinwheels so that they are even and uniform in size.
• For a spicier version, add a pinch of cayenne pepper to the cream cheese mixture.
• For a healthier version, use whole wheat tortillas instead of regular flour tortillas.
• Use gluten-free tortillas if needed.
