Equipment

Ingredients

  • Butterfly Pea Tea
  • 4 ounces of Lavender Syrup
  • 1 cup of Fresh Lemon Juice
  • 3 ounces Honey
  • ice curbs
  • Water

For Garnish

  • Lemon Slice

Instructions

  • Start by brewing a cup of butterfly pea tea and let it cool down for a few minutes.
  • In a mixing glass or jar, add 4 ounces of lavender syrup, 1 cup of fresh lemon juice, and 3 ounces of honey.
  • Once the tea has cooled down, pour it into the mixing glass and stir well to combine all the ingredients.
  • Fill a shaker with ice curbs and pour in the mixture from the mixing glass.
  • Shake well for about 1 minute until all the ingredients are well combined and chilled.
  • Using a strainer, strain the drink into two Juggers filled with ice.
  • Top off each glass with 2 ounces of water to dilute the strong flavors and create a balanced taste.
  • Give it a stir, and your First Watch Purple Haze is ready to be served!
  • For garnish, add a slice of lemon on top of each glass.

Notes

 
  • If you can’t find butterfly pea tea, you can use other herbal teas like green tea or chamomile as a substitute
  • For an extra touch of sweetness, add a splash of simple syrup to the recipe.
  • You can also make this drink non-alcoholic by omitting the alcohol and using sparkling water instead.
