- 2 ounce package of strawberry-flavored gelatin/jello
- 10 ounce can fruit cocktail
- ¼ cup juice reserved
- 1/2 cup hot water
- ½ cup cold water
- Cream
- 2 tbsp Sugar
- 1/2 tsp Vanilla extract
In a small bowl, mix together the jello and hot water until well combined.
Stir in the cold water and ¼ cup of reserved fruit juice from the fruit cocktail can.
Pour half of the jello mixture into individual serving glasses or a large bowl.
Refrigerate for 30 minutes to allow the jello to set.
In another small bowl, mix together the cream, sugar, and vanilla extract until well combined.
Pour the cream mixture over the chilled jello layer.
Top with a layer of fruit cocktail on top of the cream mixture.
Pour the remaining jello mixture over the fruit cocktail layer.
Refrigerate for at least 3-4 hours, or until fully set.
