Ingredients

  • 4 Cups Bourbon Whiskey
  • 2 Can Frozen Orange Juice Concentrate
  • 2 Can Frozen Lemonade Concentrate
  • 4 Cups Strong Brewed Black Tea
  • 2 Can Pineapple Juice
  • 3 Cups White Sugar
  • 2 Bottle Lemon-Lime Flavored Carbonated Beverage

Instructions

  • In a large bowl, combine the bourbon whiskey, frozen orange juice concentrate, frozen lemonade concentrate, brewed tea, pineapple juice, and white sugar.
  • Stir until the sugar is completely dissolved.
  • Pour the mixture into a large container and freeze for 24 hours.
  • When ready to serve, scoop the frozen mixture into glasses and top with a splash of lemon-lime flavored carbonated beverage.
  • Garnish with a cinnamon stick or fresh fruit if desired.
  • Enjoy your homemade Kentucky Bourbon Slush!

Notes

• For a non-alcoholic version, simply omit the bourbon and add an additional cup of water.
• To make the slush creamier, add a scoop of vanilla ice cream to each glass before serving.
• To add a little sweetness, try adding a tablespoon of honey or maple syrup to the mixture before freezing.
• To make the slush even more flavorful, try adding a splash of your favorite fruit juice.
• For a more intense flavor, try substituting dark rum for the bourbon.
