Ingredients

  • 3 pounds skirt steaks
  • 1 cup vegetable oil
  • 6 cloves peeled and mashed garlic
  • 2 teaspoon Goya Adobo seasoning
  • 2 teaspoon mayonnaise
  • 8 tablespoons fresh lime juice
  • 2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 bunch of green onions

Instructions

  • Begin by marinating the meat in a large bowl with vegetable oil, mashed garlic, Goya Adobo seasoning, mayonnaise, lime juice, salt, green onions, and ground cumin.
  • Cover the bowl and let it marinate for at least 2 hours in the refrigerator.
  • Preheat a skillet over medium-high heat and cook the marinated meat until it is cooked through, about 8-10 minutes on each side.
  • While the meat is cooking, you can also grill some vegetables such as bell peppers, onions, and mushrooms for added flavor and nutrition.
  • Once the meat is cooked, let it rest for a few minutes before slicing it into strips.
  • Warm up tortillas on the skillet or in the oven for a minute, then assemble your fajitas by placing slices of meat and grilled vegetables onto the tortilla and topping it with Lupe Tortilla sauce.
  • Serve hot and enjoy your delicious Lupe Tortilla Fajitas!

Notes

Here are a few tips for making the perfect Lupe Tortilla Fajita Recipe:
  • For a spicier fajita, add some diced jalapenos into the marinade.
  • Make sure to let the meat rest before slicing it. This will keep it juicy and tender.
  • You can also use shrimp or fish instead of beef or chicken for a seafood twist on this recipe.
  • To amp up the flavor of your grilled vegetables, you can sprinkle on some extra Goya Adobo seasoning before grilling.
  • Serve with toppings like shredded cheese, sour cream, and guacamole to customize your fajitas even more.
