Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons of plant-based protein powder optional
  • 1/2 cup of creamy soy milk alternative
  • 4 tablespoons of freshly roasted pecans
  • 1 cup of indulgent vanilla bean-infused ice cream
  • 2 frozen ripe bananas

Instructions

  • Gather 4 tablespoons of freshly roasted pecans, 1/2 cup of creamy soy milk alternative, 2 frozen ripe bananas, 2 tablespoons of plant-based protein powder (optional), and 1 cup of indulgent vanilla bean-infused ice cream.
  • In a high-speed blender, add the 4 tablespoons of roasted pecans and 1/2 cup of creamy soy milk alternative. Blend until the pecans are finely chopped and well combined with the milk.
  • Toss in the 2 frozen ripe bananas and, if desired, the 2 tablespoons of plant-based protein powder into the blender.
  • Add 1 cup of indulgent vanilla bean-infused ice cream to the blender.
  • Blend all the ingredients together until you achieve a smooth, creamy consistency.
  • If the smoothie is too thick, you can add more soy milk in small increments and blend again until you reach your desired consistency.
  • Pour the smoothie into a glass or serving cup. Optionally, garnish with chopped pecans or a banana slice on the rim. Enjoy your homemade smoothie!

Notes

• Use frozen fruits and vegetables for a thicker, creamier texture.
• Add a scoop of your favorite nut butter for a boost of healthy fats.
• If you’re looking for a sweeter smoothie, add a tablespoon of honey or maple syrup.
• To make the smoothie extra creamy, add a handful of ice.
• If you’re looking for a more nutrient-dense smoothie, add a handful of nuts or seeds.
