Equipment

  • Mixing glass
  • double rocks glass

Ingredients

  • 1 ounce of peach schnapps or peach cinnamon syrup
  • 4 dashes of Peychaud’s Bitters
  • 2 fluid ounce-Cynar
  • Six-quarters of a glass of lemonade
  • Mint
  • 2 Ounce- Amaro di Angostura
  • Ice cubes

Instructions

  • In a mixing glass, combine the peach schnapps or peach cinnamon syrup, Peychaud’s Bitters, Cynar, and lemonade.
  • Add a handful of mint leaves to the mixing glass and lightly press them with a muddler to release their oils into the drink.
  • Fill a double rocks glass with ice and pour the mixture over it.
  • Top it off with a splash of Amaro di Angostura.
  • Give the drink a quick stir to mix all the flavors together.
  • Garnish with a dried peach, mint leaf, and marigold flower, if desired.
  • Serve and enjoy your homemade Texas Roadhouse Peach Fuzz.

Notes

  • For a non-alcoholic version, omit the peach schnapps and add more lemonade.
  • You can use fresh peaches instead of peach schnapps for a more natural flavor.
  • If you prefer a sweeter drink, substitute the Cynar with Amaretto liqueur.
  • Make sure to lightly press the mint leaves to avoid releasing any bitter flavors into the drink.
  • Feel free to adjust the sugar and cinnamon to taste.
  • Serve the Peach Fuzz as soon as possible for the best flavor and texture.
