Ingredients

  • 3 ½ Ponds fresh soak and trim broccoli crowns
  • cup toasted sunflower seeds
  • 1 ¾ cup cooked and crumbled bacon
  • 1 ¾ cup black raisins
  • cup chopped red onion

For the Dressing

  • 2 ⅝ cup mayonnaise
  • 4/7 cup sugar
  • 5 ¼ tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 5 ¼ tablespoon freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • teaspoon salt

Instructions

  • Start by soaking and trimming the broccoli crowns, then cut them into small bite-sized pieces.
  • In a large bowl, combine the broccoli, toasted sunflower seeds, crumbled bacon, black raisins, and chopped red onion.
  • In a separate bowl, mix together the mayonnaise, sugar, apple cider vinegar, freshly squeezed lemon juice, and salt. This is your dressing.
  • Pour the dressing over the broccoli mixture and stir until everything is evenly coated.
  • Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld together.
  • Once chilled, give the salad a final stir and serve.

Notes

Here are a few tips to make the perfect Walmart broccoli salad:
– For a creamier dressing, substitute plain Greek yogurt for the sour cream.
– If you don’t have apple cider vinegar, you can substitute white wine vinegar or red wine vinegar.
– You can also add shredded cheese, sunflower seeds, and/or raisins to the salad.
– This salad tastes best when served fresh, but it will keep in the refrigerator for up to three days.
– To make the salad vegan, omit the bacon and substitute vegan mayonnaise for the regular mayonnaise.
