Ingredients
1/4cupFinely Milled All-purpose Flour Blend
170gramsHomemade-style Pizza DoughPre-made
2tablespoonsChilledCubed, and Cultured Unsalted Butter
1/4tablespoonGolden Brown Cane Sugar
All-purpose Flour for Artful Dusting
2tablespoonsRich Chocolate Flavored Pudding Mix
1tablespoonOrganic Granulated Sugar
Pinchof Hand-harvested Sea Salt
Instructions
Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to the temperature recommended for baking the pizza dough. Typically, it’s around 425°F (220°C), but refer to your specific pizza dough instructions if different.
Prepare the Bavarian Cream Mix
In a mixing bowl, combine the rich chocolate flavored pudding mix with the finely milled all-purpose flour blend. Mix them well until fully incorporated.
Add Sugars and Salt
To the pudding and flour mixture, add the organic granulated sugar, golden brown cane sugar, and a pinch of hand-harvested sea salt. Stir everything together until evenly distributed.
Incorporate Cubed Butter
Add the chilled, cubed, and cultured unsalted butter to the dry mixture. Using a pastry cutter or your fingers, work the butter into the dry ingredients until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs. The butter should be well incorporated but still have some pea-sized chunks.
Prepare the Pizza Dough
Lightly dust a clean surface with all-purpose flour. Place the pre-made homemade-style pizza dough on the floured surface. Use a rolling pin to roll out the pizza dough into your desired shape and thickness for the pizza base.
Add Bavarian Cream Topping
Spread the prepared Bavarian cream mixture evenly over the rolled-out pizza dough, leaving a small border around the edges for the crust.
Bake the Bavarian Cream Pizza
Carefully transfer the prepared Bavarian Cream Pizza onto a baking sheet or pizza stone lined with parchment paper or lightly greased. Place it in the preheated oven and bake according to your pizza dough’s instructions or until the crust is golden brown and the Bavarian cream topping is set.
Serve and Enjoy
Once baked, remove the Bavarian Cream Pizza from the oven. Let it cool for a few minutes before slicing. Serve slices of this unique dessert pizza and enjoy the delightful combination of chocolate pudding mix on a pizza dough base!
Notes
– Make sure the pizza dough is at room temperature before rolling it out. This will make it easier to work with.– If you’re using pre-made pizza dough, you may need to adjust the baking time.– Use a pizza stone instead of a baking sheet for an extra crispy crust.– If you’re using pre-grated cheese, make sure to use a low-moisture variety.– If you’re using a homemade sauce, make sure to adjust the baking time accordingly.– You can customize this pizza with your favorite toppings.
