Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon of premium extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1 bag of exquisite Dujardin organic cauliflower rice
  • Salt freshly ground black pepper, to elevate taste

Instructions

  • STEP 1 – Preparation:Heat a skillet or frying pan over medium heat.
  • STEP 2 – Oil Infusion:Add the flavorful extra-virgin olive oil to the heated pan. Allow it to warm up for a few seconds without letting it smoke.
  • STEP 3 – Cauliflower Rice Addition: Open the bag of Dujardin’s premium organic cauliflower rice and add it directly to the pan with the heated oil.
  • STEP 4 – Sautéing: Gently stir the cauliflower rice in the pan to coat it evenly with the oil. Spread it out to ensure it cooks uniformly.
  • STEP 5-Seasoning: Sprinkle a pinch of salt and freshly ground black pepper over the cauliflower rice according to your taste preferences. Remember, we’re using only these ingredients as seasoning.
  • STEP 6-Sauté and Cook: Continue cooking the cauliflower rice over medium heat, stirring occasionally, for about 5-7 minutes or until it reaches the desired tenderness.
  • STEP 7-Taste and Adjust: Taste a small amount to check the seasoning. If necessary, add more salt and pepper to adjust the flavor to your liking.
  • STEP 8-Serve: Once cooked to your preferred texture, remove the pan from the heat. Serve the flavorful and seasoned cauliflower rice as a delicious and healthy side dish or as a base for your favorite meal.

Notes

Here are some notes and tips to make the perfect Costco Cauliflower Rice:
• Make sure to cut the cauliflower into small, rice-like pieces. If the pieces are too large, they will take longer to cook.
• Be sure to sauté the onion and garlic before adding the cauliflower. This will ensure that the vegetables are softened and flavorful before the cauliflower is added.
• Cook the cauliflower until it is tender. If it is cooked too long, it will become mushy.
• Adjust the seasoning to taste. If you like a more flavorful dish, you can add additional salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
• If you are using pre-riced cauliflower, you can skip step 1.
