Ingredients

  • 1.33 cup unsweetened coconut flakes
  • 1 cup coconut flakes sweetened
  • 16 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 ounce milk chocolate
  • 4 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 48- ounce white chocolate
  • 56 ounce condensed milk
  • 12 food coloring red or pink
  • 3 tablespoon coarse salt

Instructions

  • Start by lining an 8×8-inch baking dish with parchment paper.
  • In a large bowl, mix together unsweetened and sweetened coconut flakes.
  • Melt 12 tablespoons of unsalted butter in a saucepan over medium heat.
  • Pour the melted butter over the coconut mixture and stir until well combined.
  • Press the mixture evenly into the lined baking dish and set aside.
  • In another saucepan, melt 4 tablespoons of unsalted butter, milk chocolate, and vanilla extract together over medium heat.
  • Pour this mixture on top of the coconut layer in the baking dish and spread it evenly.
  • In a separate saucepan, melt 16 tablespoons of unsalted butter and white chocolate together.
  • Pour half of this mixture over the milk chocolate layer and spread evenly.
  • Mix in a few drops of red or pink food coloring to the remaining white chocolate mixture until it reaches your desired shade.
  • Pour this pink-colored mixture over the white chocolate layer and spread it evenly.
  • Sprinkle a pinch of coarse salt over the top and place in the refrigerator for 1-2 hours, until firm.
  • Once set, remove from the refrigerator and cut into bite-sized pieces.
