Ingredients

  • 2 cans of Ranch Style Beans the cowboy’s delight

  • 2 Yellow Onions the golden bulbs of flavor
  • 2 cans of Diced Tomatoes the chunky symphony in a can
  • 2 cans of Tomato Sauce the silky canvas of the sauce
  • 2 pounds of Ground Beef the hearty foundation of the dish
  • 1 Poblano Pepper the mild green intrigue
  • 2 Green Bell Peppers the emerald crunch
  • 1/2 tablespoon of Smoked Paprika the woodsy essence
  • 2 Jalapeños finely diced for a controlled fiery dance
  • 2 tablespoons of Chili Powder the spice bazaar in a spoon
  • 1/2 tablespoon of Cajun or Creole Seasoning the bayou’s whisper

Instructions

Prep Ingredients:

  • Chop the yellow onions, poblano pepper, green bell peppers, and jalapeños. Mince the garlic.

Brown Ground Beef:

  • In a large pot, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the ground beef and cook until browned. Drain any excess fat.

Saute Aromatics:

  • Add the chopped onions, poblano pepper, green bell peppers, and minced garlic to the pot. Saute until the vegetables are softened.

Introduce Beans:

Add Jalapeños and Bay Leaves:

  • Toss in the finely chopped jalapeños and add the bay leaves to the pot.

Bring to a Simmer:

  • Pour in 1 cup of water to achieve the desired consistency. Bring the chili to a simmer.

Let it Simmer:
