  • 2 cups Greek yogurt for Tart thick base
  • 8 tbsp extra virgin luxurious robust olive oil
  • 1 fresh lemon for zesty tangy touch
  • 2 tbsp red wine sharp tangy vinegar
  • 1 tbsp dried oregano with aromatic savory herb
  • 1 tbsp dried thyme with woody fragrant herb
  • 1/2 tsp salt Fundamental seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp freshly ground black pepper for Zingy piquant spice

Instructions

STEP 1 – Prepare The Marinade:

  • In a mixing bowl, combine the Greek yogurt, extra virgin olive oil, freshly squeezed lemon juice, red wine vinegar, dried oregano, dried thyme, salt, and freshly ground black pepper. Whisk thoroughly to ensure a well-combined, creamy texture.

STEP 2 – Marinating The Chicken:

  • Place your chicken in a large resealable bag or a shallow dish. Pour the prepared marinade over the chicken, ensuring it’s entirely coated. Seal the bag or cover the dish and place it in the refrigerator to marinate for at least 2 hours or preferably overnight for the flavors to deeply infuse.

STEP 3 – Grilling The Chicken:

  • Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. Remove the chicken from the marinade, allowing any excess marinade to drip off. Grill the chicken for about 5-7 minutes per side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) and the chicken is beautifully charred and cooked through.

STEP 4 – Rest And Serve:

  • Once cooked, remove the chicken from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes to retain its juices. Serve the grilled chicken hot with your choice of sides, such as rice, roasted vegetables, or a fresh salad.

Notes

Here are a few tips for making the perfect Cava Grill Chicken:
– Make sure to use fresh herbs and spices for the best flavor.
– To ensure the chicken is cooked through, use a meat thermometer to check the internal temperature. The chicken should reach an internal temperature of 165°F.
– For extra flavor, add a squeeze of fresh lemon juice to the finished dish.
– If you don’t have fresh herbs on hand, you can substitute dried herbs.
– For a gluten-free version, use a gluten-free flour blend instead of all-purpose flour.
– Feel free to add more or less of the herbs and spices, depending on your taste preferences.
