Equipment

  • pan

Ingredients

  • 1 bag Costco’s Premade Italian Meatballs

Instructions

  • STEP 1-Thaw Meatballs: Allow the frozen Italian meatballs to thaw in the refrigerator overnight or follow the package instructions for thawing.
  • STEP 2-Stovetop Method: In a skillet or frying pan, add a small amount of olive oil or cooking spray to prevent sticking. Heat the pan over medium heat. Once the pan is hot, add the thawed Italian meatballs to the skillet.
  • STEP 3-Cook Meatballs: Cook the meatballs for 8-10 minutes, turning occasionally to ensure even browning. Keep an eye on them to prevent burning; adjust the heat as needed.
  • STEP 4-Internal Temperature Check: Check the internal temperature of the meatballs using a meat thermometer. They should reach an internal temperature of at least 165°F (74°C) to ensure they are fully cooked.
  • STEP 5-Serve or Incorporate: Once cooked through, the Italian meatballs are ready to serve with your preferred sauce, pasta, or as desired in recipes like meatball subs, casseroles, or appetizers.

Notes

Make sure to mix the ingredients together very well so that the meatballs hold their shape.
  • When forming the meatballs, it can help to wet your hands to prevent the mixture from sticking to them.
  • Be sure to check the meatballs after 20 minutes of baking to make sure they are not overcooked.
  • You can also fry the meatballs in a skillet over medium-high heat for about 5 minutes per side.
  • For a spicier version, add some chili powder to the mixture.
  • To make the meatballs a bit healthier, you can swap out the ground beef for ground turkey.
  • You can also freeze the cooked meatballs in an airtight container and reheat them in the oven or in a skillet.
