- 16 Ounce Creamette Lasagna
- 32 oz. Italian Sausage
- 48 oz. Prego Pasta Sauce
- 32 oz Ricotta cheese
- 1 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
- 2 cup shredded Mozzarella cheese
- 2 Egg
- 1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 2 teaspoon sugar
- Ground black pepper
- Salt
- 2 tablespoon dried parsley flakes
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish with cooking spray.
Cook Creamette Lasagna noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
In a large skillet, cook the Italian sausage over medium heat until browned and cooked through.
In a separate bowl, mix together Prego Pasta Sauce, ricotta cheese, Parmesan cheese, one cup of mozzarella cheese, eggs, nutmeg, sugar, black pepper, and salt.
Spread a thin layer of the sauce mixture into the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
Layer half of the cooked lasagna noodles on top of the sauce, followed by half of the remaining sauce and half of the cooked sausage. Repeat layers.
Sprinkle remaining mozzarella cheese on top.
Cover with foil and bake for 40 minutes or until heated through and cheese is melted.
Remove foil and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes until cheese is bubbly and lightly browned.
Sprinkle with dried parsley flakes before serving.
