  • Vibrant minced parsley as desired but you can use around 2-4 tablespoons , adding a burst of freshness and a hint of earthiness to the dish, enhancing both the visual appeal and the overall flavor profile.

Instructions

  • Start by preparing your steamer. If you don’t have a steamer, you can place a colander over a large pot of boiling water.
  • Add the pre-cooked Dungeness crab legs to the steamer or colander and sprinkle them with Old Bay seasoning or your preferred seafood blend.
  • Once the crab legs are seasoned, cover them with a lid and steam for approximately 10 minutes.

Make sure to turn them over halfway through the cooking process to ensure even heating.

  • While your crab legs are steaming, melt butter in a separate small pot on medium heat.
  • Once the crab legs are done steaming, remove them from the heat and transfer them to a serving platter.
  • Pour the melted butter over the crab legs or serve it on the side as a dipping sauce.
  • Garnish with fresh lemon wedges and minced parsley.
  • Serve hot and enjoy your delicious pre-cooked Dungeness crab!

Notes

• If you’d like to add some additional flavor to the crab, you can try adding some white wine, lemon juice, or herbs to the butter mixture before spreading it over the crab.
• If you’re looking for a low-fat option, you can use olive oil instead of butter.
• If you’d like to add a bit of heat to the dish, you can sprinkle some red pepper flakes over the top of the crab before baking.
• To make this dish even more flavorful, you can add a few tablespoons of freshly grated Parmesan cheese to the butter mixture.
• To make clean-up easier, line the baking dish with aluminum foil before adding the crab and butter mixture.
