Ingredients

  • 2 plain bagels sliced
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 white onion sliced
  • 3 tablespoons butter divided use
  • 1/2 pound ground chuck
  • 2 slices American cheese
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 tablespoon yellow mustard
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 eggs whisked
  • 1/4 teaspoon dill
  • 1/8 cup mayonnaise

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F.
  • Place a skillet over medium-high heat and add 2 tablespoons of butter.
  • Once the butter has melted, add the ground chuck to the skillet. Cook for about 5-7 minutes, breaking it into small pieces with a spatula until fully cooked.
  • Season with salt, yellow mustard, black pepper, and garlic powder. Mix well.
  • Slice the bagel in half and spread the remaining tablespoon of butter on each half.
  • Place the bagels face down on a baking sheet and bake for about 5 minutes, or until golden brown.
  • In a separate pan, place the slices of American cheese and cook until melted.
  • In a small bowl, whisk the eggs and add dill. Mix well.
  • In the same skillet used for cooking ground chuck, add the egg mixture and cook until scrambled.
  • Spread mayonnaise on each half of the bagel.
  • Place the cooked ground chuck on one half of the bagel.
  • Add the scrambled eggs on top of the ground chuck.
  • Top with melted cheese and sliced onions.
  • Cover with the other half of the bagel.
  • Cut the sandwich in half and serve hot.
  • You can also wrap it in foil for an on-the-go breakfast option.
  • Enjoy your McDonald’s Steak Egg and Cheese Bagel!

Notes

* If you want to add some extra flavor to the sandwich, try adding some spices such as garlic powder, onion powder, or paprika to the steak before cooking.
* If you want to make the sandwich even heartier, you can add some cooked bacon or sausage to the sandwich.
* To make the sandwich even more filling, consider adding a slice of tomato or some lettuce to the sandwich.
* If you are in a rush, you can skip the toasting step and just assemble the sandwich with the raw bagel.
* If you want to make the sandwich even more cheesy, try adding some shredded cheese to the sandwich before toasting it.
* To make the sandwich even more flavorful, try adding some condiments such as ketchup, mustard, or mayonnaise.
