Ingredients

  • 2 store-bought frozen pie crust
  • 2 box cake mix
  • egg As recommended in the cake mix box
  • 2 container frosting
  • 2 /2 cup dark chocolate chips
  • vegetable oil ACCORDING TO CAKE MIX BOX

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven according to the instructions on the cake mix box.
  • Roll out the two frozen pie crusts onto a baking sheet, making sure they are evenly flattened.
  • In a bowl, prepare the cake mix according to the instructions on the box.
  • Pour half of this mixture onto one of the pie crusts and spread it evenly.
  • Place the other pie crust on top of the cake mixture and gently press down.
  • Pour the remaining cake mixture onto this second pie crust and spread it evenly.
  • Bake in the oven for 40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  • Let it cool for 10 minutes before spreading frosting on top.
  • Sprinkle dark chocolate chips on top of the frosting.
  • Slice and serve as a delicious snack or dessert!
