  • 3 pounds American cheese
  • 0.67 cup Whole Milk
  • 2 tablespoon Minced Garlic
  • 1 cup Diced Onion
  • 0.5 teaspoon Garlic Salt
  • 8-10 ounces Canned Green Chilies with juice
  • 1 cup Ripe Tomatoes Diced

Instructions

  • In a medium pot, melt the American cheese and whole milk over medium heat, stirring constantly to prevent burning.
  • Once the cheese is melted, add in the minced garlic, diced onion, and garlic salt. Stir until well combined.
  • Next, add in the canned green chilies with juice and stir until everything is well mixed.
  • Finally, add in the diced tomatoes and stir until they are evenly distributed.
  • Let the queso simmer for 5-10 minutes, stirring occasionally to prevent burning.
  • Once everything is heated through and well combined, remove from heat and let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
