Ingredients

  • 6 medium ripe bananas
  • 2 package instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 2 28-ounce can of sweetened condensed milk
  • 4 cups heavy cream
  • 3 cup cold water
  • 72 vanilla wafers

Instructions

  • Begin by slicing 6 ripe bananas into thin slices and set them aside.
  • In a large mixing bowl, whisk together two packages of instant vanilla pudding mix and two cans of sweetened condensed milk until well combined.
  • In a separate mixing bowl, whip 4 cups of heavy cream with 3 cups of cold water until stiff peaks form.
  • Gently fold the whipped cream into the pudding mixture until fully incorporated.
  • In a large serving dish or trifle bowl, spread a layer of vanilla wafers on the bottom.
  • Top with a layer of sliced bananas, then a layer of the pudding mixture.
  • Repeat layers until all ingredients are used, ending with a layer of whipped cream on top.
  • Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving.

Notes

– For best results, make sure to use ripe bananas for optimal flavor.
– If you don’t have instant vanilla pudding mix, you can make your own using this recipe.
– If you are using store bought whipped cream, make sure to use the kind that has been sweetened.
– You can also top the pudding with crushed graham crackers for an extra crunch.
– If you don’t have sliced almonds, you can use any type of nut or even leave them off.
– To make the pudding ahead of time, make the pudding and whip the cream and assemble the pudding. Cover and refrigerate for up to 24 hours.
