Ingredients

  • 16 ounces of uncooked Lasagna noodles
  • 3 cups water
  • 1/2 cup chopped Parsley
  • 2 lb ground beef
  • 4 eggs at room temperature
  • 1/2 tablespoon pepper
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan Cheese
  • 30 ounces of ricotta cheese
  • 2 tablespoon salt
  • 2 jar thick spaghetti sauce
  • 24 ounces mozzarella cheese

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F.
  • In a large pot, bring 3 cups of water to a boil and cook the lasagna noodles according to package instructions.
  • Cook ground beef in a skillet over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
  • In a separate bowl, beat eggs and add parsley, pepper, Parmesan cheese, and ricotta cheese. Mix well.
  • In a 9×13 inch baking dish, spread a layer of spaghetti sauce on the bottom.
  • Place a layer of cooked lasagna noodles on top of the sauce.
  • Add a layer of the ricotta cheese mixture on top of the noodles, followed by another layer of sauce and ground beef.
  • Repeat layers until all ingredients are used, ending with a layer of sauce on top.
  • Sprinkle mozzarella cheese over the top of the dish.
  • Cover the baking dish with foil and bake for 45 minutes.
  • Remove foil and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  • Let lasagna cool for 10-15 minutes before serving.
