- 2 pound cooked shredded chicken breast
- 1 cups egg noodles
- 1 tablespoons butter
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1/2 cup chopped celery
- 1/2 cup chopped carrots
- 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1/2 teaspoon dried rosemary
- 4 cups chicken broth
- Salt and pepper as per taste
In a large pot, melt butter over medium heat. Add onion, celery, and carrots and sauté until softened.
Add dried thyme and rosemary and stir for about 30 seconds.
Pour in chicken broth and bring to a boil.
Add shredded chicken and egg noodles, reduce heat to low, and let simmer for about 10-15 minutes until the noodles are cooked through.
