Ingredients

  • 2 pound cooked shredded chicken breast
  • 1 cups egg noodles
  • 1 tablespoons butter
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1/2 cup chopped celery
  • 1/2 cup chopped carrots
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried rosemary
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • Salt and pepper as per taste

Instructions

  • In a large pot, melt butter over medium heat. Add onion, celery, and carrots and sauté until softened.
  • Add dried thyme and rosemary and stir for about 30 seconds.
  • Pour in chicken broth and bring to a boil.
  • Add shredded chicken and egg noodles, reduce heat to low, and let simmer for about 10-15 minutes until the noodles are cooked through.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.
