Ingredients

  • 12 oz of Whole Unshelled Edamame, Freshly Harvested or Conveniently Frozen
  • 3 Cloves of Garlic Finely Chopped for an aromatic burst
  • 1 tsp of Kikkoman Soy Sauce the essence of authentic Japanese flavor
  • 2 tbsp of Lee Kum Kee Panda Oyster Sauce for a savory umami infusion
  • 1 tbsp of Kevala’s Extra Virgin Organic Sesame Oil a touch of pure indulgence
  • 1/2 tbsp of Red Pepper Flakes to add a subtle kick of heat
  • 1 tbsp of 365 by Whole Foods Market Honey a golden touch of natural sweetness

Instructions

  • Prepare The Edamame:
  • If using frozen edamame, thaw them according to package instructions. If using fresh edamame, ensure they are cleaned and ready to cook.
  • Heat The Sesame Oil:
  • In a large skillet or wok, heat Kevala’s Extra Virgin Organic Sesame Oil over medium heat.
  • Sauté The Garlic:
  • Add the finely chopped garlic to the heated oil. Sauté until the garlic becomes fragrant and lightly golden.
  • Add Red Pepper Flakes:
  • Incorporate the red pepper flakes into the skillet, providing a subtle kick of heat to the dish. Stir to combine with the garlic.
  • Introduce Oyster Sauce:
  • Pour Lee Kum Kee Panda Oyster Sauce into the skillet. Stir well to blend the oyster sauce with the garlic and red pepper flakes.
  • Infuse With Soy Sauce:
  • Add Kikkoman Soy Sauce to the mixture, providing the essence of authentic Japanese flavor. Stir to combine.
  • Add Honey:
  • Drizzle 365 by Whole Foods Market Honey into the skillet, offering a golden touch of natural sweetness to balance the flavors. Stir until the honey is well incorporated.
  • Add Edamame:
  • Toss the whole, unshelled edamame into the flavorful sauce. Ensure the edamame are well coated.
  • Cook Until Heated Through:
  • Continue to cook the edamame in the sauce, stirring occasionally, until they are heated through. This should only take a few minutes.
  • Serve Warm:
  • Once the edamame are heated and coated in the flavorful sauce, remove the skillet from heat.
  • Garnish (Optional):
  • Optionally, you can garnish the Yard House-style Edamame with additional sesame seeds or chopped green onions for added flavor and visual appeal.
